Keyboarding - Touch Typing Stage One
BSBITU102A Develop Keyboard skills from Certificate I in Business BSB10107
This course is to provide participants with basic skills in keyboard techniques and operation and covers OH&S practices, keyboard functions, touch typing techniques (using computer keyboards), frequently used punctuation symbols, spacing conventions, proofreading techniques and analysis of errors. Satisfactory completion of tasks and assessment earns a recognised Statement of Attainment. Speed tests, which are not part of the certificate, can be done during the course.

Medical Terminology [advanced]
This course is conducted through the Central Coast Community College (RTO90304) who will issue the statement of attainment. This course is by distance learning using a workbook with phone and email contact with the trainer. Courses begin on receipt of Learning Kit.

Successful participants will receive a Statement of Attainment from Certificate III Business Administration (Medical) BSB31107: BSBMED301B Interpret and Apply Medical Terminology Appropriately. Please note this course includes everything a student needs for medical terminology from introduction to advanced concepts.

Bookkeeping for Small Business
Learn basic bookkeeping essentials. Includes maintaining daily financial records such as reconciling debtors and creditors systems, preparing and maintaining a general ledger, monitoring of cash flow and preparing a trial balance. On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment in BSBFIA301A Maintain financial records from Certificate III in Business Administration (BSB30407). There are no classes to attend. Email and phone contact with a tutor and all workbooks are included in the course fee. Certificate in Spoken & Written English
FREE courses for people of Non-English speaking backgrounds who are permanent residents or Australian citizens. AMEP students are welcome. Classes are held at the Multicultural Neighbourhood Centre in Lambton.
Fee: $400 (GST Free) per term for non-permanent visas.

Cert I in Spoken & Written English (Beginners)
This is a beginners course for learning the basics of English, you will practice the basics of pronunciation and reading and writing English in a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy learning about Australia and its language. Free for AMEP eligible students and Australian residents.

Cert II in Spoken & Written English (Intermediate)
A more advanced course for those who already have some skills in English and who wish to improve their skills to interact more effectively and read and write longer pieces of writing and gain practical skills in everyday English. Free for AMEP eligible students and Australian residents.

Cert III in Spoken & Written English (Intermediate/Advanced)
This course is for those who have a solid grasp of the English language and who wish to improve their skills in all aspects of English, from casual conversation to business writing. Free for AMEP eligible students and Australian residents.
